Step-by-Step Guide to Revamping Playskool Wagons

One of my favorite Story Pieces to work on is vintage Playskool wagons. I’ve completed a few sets now, sometimes using the original blocks and sometimes new ones, as shown below.

Purchase vintage Playskool wagon on EBay
Source books (Thriftbooks.com)
with little pictures
Cut out pictures
Buy blocks & sand
Pick paint (after white primer coat)
Dry, paint again (multiple times)
Choose characters
Match to blocks & glue with Mod Podge
Dry
Add final coat of (different) Mod Podge
all around then dry
Decide on front and back
